LA County is still counting the ballots. As of the date of this Newsletter, less than half of the ballots have been reported so far. As they continue to count the ballots, they will periodically update the results. Stay up to date and check the website link below.
As a reminder, in the 2020 election, Councilmember Joe Franklin was not winning as of the first ballot count, but by the end of the week, after all the ballots were counted, he won by 88 votes.
You can check the ballot count by going to lavote.gov [HERE].
To locate the time the ballot count was last updated, click on the link above and locate at the top of the page the heading “Ballot Distribution.” The date and time of the last update will be posted, as we’ve circled in red in the example below. The last update was on 11/9/22 at 3:35:19AM
