Robbery in Downtown MB on Friday Night
Pasha Jewelry Store gets robbed and ransacked by near a dozen thieves
There was no “reimagining” tonight’s brazen robbery while locals and tourists were dining at nearby Simmzy’s and The Kettle.
At about 7:30PM on Friday night 6/24/22, Pasha Fine Jewelry, located at 217 MB Blvd. was robbed.
(photos from the internet) We were sent a video but will not post it while the police are investigating the robbery.
A passerby from across the street caught part of the robbery on video from his cell phone. It appears about 9 people dressed in dark clothes, hoodies, and face masks were seen and heard ransacking the store’s jewelry cases and window displays. With bags seemingly full of merchandise, the thieves ran across MB Blvd. and down Bayview Dr. where 3 get-away cars were double-parked. All of the thieves got in the cars and sped south down Bayview Dr.
We have no further information.
If you have any information about this robbery, please contact our MB Police Department at 310-802-5140.
Pasha Fine Jewelry has been a wonderful addition to our downtown business district for the last several years. Please show them support as they recover from this terrifying experience.
